i just threw up a bunch of stuff here on newgrounds that you might wanna see

►►ANIMATION

First of all, I know it’s already a few weeks old, and its definitely not new, but thanks for the great feedback on my cel animation! I haven’t had time to reply to them, but I really do appreciate it, it really helps!

oh and thanks for the daily pick that week, too ( i meant to get this blog post out much, much earlier but i’ve also been trying to finish my music, too. plus i got sick last week, so i hadda push this back even more.)

In case you haven’t noticed yet, I’ve been putting up several “backburner” songs I started somewhere in the early 2020’s and never got to finish until now.

Here’s the three I put up in the audio portal so far;

FIRST UP:

Chaotic Energy - A weird, warped, but sick experimental track I made in GarageBand.

NEXT:

good4ursoul - A piece inspired by old-skool tracker music from the early 90’s.

LATEST:

The Circuitry Stroll - A track inspired by the fun, synthy beeps and boops of Jean-Jacques Perrey, and maybe Gershon Kingsley.

►►NEW PROFILE PIC

(ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!!)

Felt like the current one I had has been showing its age, with the ugly airbrush shading and all, and the vaporwave looking aesthetic of the background's kinda worn off on me after a while.

And it was up there since 2019. Back when I was still trying to figure out how to use Flash and out how to draw the snout of my own sona's face. Even with me redrawing the nose later that year, you can still see a lot of jank, especially in the shading area.

(bleugh.)

For a while I’ve been really wanting to switch out that old profile pic, but I haven’t really gotten around to doing it until now, which you can take a look at down here:

This’ll eventually apply to the rest of my socials, too, but please, let me know what you think!

►►THINGS I'M PLANNING ON DOING

• I did mention this before, but what do you think of me eventually taking up commissions at some point? Genuinely asking. This is something I've been considering doing for a while now (because college isnt cheap and we kinda need help :\) I've been trying to brush up my drawing skills, and I was wondering how you'd feel if I just started setting up commissions and such, like drawing your characters and stuff?*

• I also want to get around to sharing some more of my photography work from 2020, too (dont worry, they're not like plain, boring stock still life photos that will eat up the art portal)

• And eventually, I want to try to get around to finishing the animations I hadn't got a chance to finish because of the work piling up from college. This semester's a bit more lightweight than the other one, so I think I can manage being able to finish some stuff.

But that's pretty much all I have for now, refreshing to not have a depressing blog post for once, huh?

I'll try to do more stuff, when I'm not busy back at home, at least.
